A volute liner is a curved funnel that gradually increases in cross-sectional area leading to the discharge port. It is commonly used with impeller pumps. As the cross-sectional area increases, the volute reduces the speed of the liquid while simultaneously increasing its pressure. The main purpose of a volute casting is to help balance the hydraulic pressure acting on the pump shaft. The materials used for volute liners include A05, A49, A33, A61, natural rubber, polyurethane, and ceramic, depending on the specific working conditions. In addition to standard volute liners, we also offer OEM and ODM services if clients provide us with drawings or samples.
